Commercial checking, savings and money market account numbers will not change, unless noted otherwise. Certificate of Deposit (CD) and loan account numbers will change. Your new account number will be located on your statement, in Fifth Third Direct^® and on your CD maturity notice.

You can continue using your Comerica checks until they run out. Beginning September 8, you can reorder checks online at 53.com.

The terms and conditions of your loans will not change. Loan account numbers will change and updated information will be provided through your statement.

Loan payments can be made through ACH, online bill pay or by mail. For advances, contact your relationship team directly.

If an ACH payment, wire transfer or payment file doesn't process as expected after September 8, please contact your relationship team or call the Commercial Support Center at 866-475-0729 for assistance.

You'll continue to have access to your accounts, funds and day-to-day commercial banking services throughout the transition, and our priority is to minimize disruption and provide guidance in advance of changes.

Yes. Comerica Business Connect online and mobile banking services ended on Friday, September 4, 2026. You have full access to your accounts through Fifth Third Online Banking or Fifth Third Direct as of Tuesday, September 8, depending on the digital and cash management services you currently use..

The standard FDIC insurance coverage amount is $250,000 per depositor, per insured bank. While Fifth Third and Comerica are now legally one bank, your deposits at each bank remain separately insured for at least six months from February 1, 2026, the date of closing. This transition period gives you time to make any changes needed to keep your FDIC coverage at the level you want. Separate coverage for certificates of deposit (CDs) may extend beyond six months depending on the CD’s maturity. CDs that mature on or before August 1, 2026, will no longer be separately insured after maturity. CDs with a maturity date after August 1, 2026, will continue to be insured separately until maturity.
